MumFest 2008 in Downtown New Bern!
Historic Downtown New Bern will blossom with excitement this weekend as we welcome the return of MUMfest. The Chrysanthemum Festival is a weekend long celebration of flowers, entertainment and great food!
This family festival is free to the public and offers tons of activities for everyone. Visitors can enjoy the MUMfest Boat Show which will feature boats up to 60 feet long, boat rides, nautical displays and parasailing. There's also tons of attractions including stage entertainment, amusement rides, arts & crafts, food vendors, street performers and helicopter rides.
Fall colored stunning Chrysanthemums will be on display and visitors should definitely visit the Tryon Palace Historic Site and Gardens to see them. The palace gardens will be open to the public free of charge during the celebration.
As you're walking the streets of downtown New Bern, don't forget to stop by our new office at 206 Craven Street for some Weichert surprises!!
